Missed Period on Pill?
So, I'm new to the app, and decided that maybe some of you would have some insights to calm my fears about the mystery of the missing period.
I've been on the pill for 6 months now, and going from a girl whose periods were bloody hell for 7 days before the pill, to slightly calmer, but still very present, on the pill, the absence of a period is freaking me out a little. Especially since I thought it had gotten much more regular, and worked out the bumps of hormones that my body wasn't used to in the first couple months, and had been pretty regular.
What's more, I can't help seeing some things as possible early pregnancy symptoms. I don't know if I'm seeing them because I wanted to or if they are real. For example: being nauseous, lightheaded, and for some reason having numb fingers for a couple days (not consecutive) earlier in the cycle. Perhaps my body was just exhausted, I thought to myself. Having one day of a tiny bit of blood, that I brushed off for perhaps a UTI. I never get the burning sensation, so it's a bit hard to tell for me. Also, sore boobs, which I thought was either from rough sex or period starting soon.
Together, the symptoms sound telling, but, could all be coincidence.
One more thing, I did take a dollar tree test a few days ago, and that was negative, but I'm not sure if that's any good.
So, anyone else had wonky missed period for seemingly no reason?
And how does one really tell if they get pregnant on the pill? Anyone who has, how did you find out? What was the symptom that made you check?
Sorry, first post ended up being super long
