Anyone willing to give me some advice on this?

So my mum is rather bossy. She always wants things her way. Six months ago, when I first became sexually active, I asked her about getting on birth control. She refuses to let me take the pill, and since she won't compromise on anything I haven't been on birth control. With me being sexually active it's rather consering for me.. Does anyone have any idea how I can talk my mother into letting me take the pill? Just so I won't end up pregnant, or having to go behind her back to get it.

There's no age limit to buying condoms so at least use those every time if you are going to have sex. You can even get them for free from the clinic. There's no excuse to not have protection when girls and boys can both buy condoms to use.

Surely your mum should be supportive of your being sensible and want to make sure you won't end up pregnant? Just go to the doctor yourself, my friends have all done that to go and get on birth control

It's not really her decision. And does she really wanna take care of a grandchild right now? Probably not. Depending on how old you are, you can go to a clinic by yourself and get on the pill without needing any of her consent

How old are you to let your mum control your life and if you are under 16 tell her fine then I'll just get pregnant or tell her that it would be easier for your period

A lot of areas in the US have clinics for teens that offer birth control and other resources, and they can see you at around 14 years old, maybe younger. You could maybe get your grandmother to drop you off at one of those if you aren't 100% comfortable with her coming with you.

Also if you don't have money for condoms, this means you likely have zero money and don't have the means to deal with consequences from sex. This means you probably shouldn't be having sex.

Also I got pregnant with my now 4.5 year old while on the pill.
