Early bleeding 2 days before expected period

Ive had spot on periods the last 4 months since getting off of birth control. I usually have symptoms leading up to it too. Today when i got home from work i went to the bathroom and wiped and theres was bright pink blood. I habe never had my period start in this way. Foe the last 4 months it has always started out with brown spotting. Could this be implantation bleeding? I mean i know it could be my period starting early im just not use to it being like this. Im 10 dpo.
