Mixed signals

Okay how do you girls know if a guy likes you... the guy im talkin to is a little older than me and we've hung out and kissed and he always makes me smile and he's always smiling when I'm around. I've met some of his friends and his mom and when we're together he shows me off. But it takes him forever to reply and when I try to have a conversation over text he never seems interested. I don't want to get hurt. Please help 😔
