clomid soon!?

I've got my hospital appointment Wednesday and hopefully all being well ill being going on clomid, though I think I won't start it now till February as I've just been visited by AF. Anybody whose taken clomid are there follow up appointments, scans or anything in between? Or do you sit get given it and off you go on your own form there? TIA guys

I took 100mg days 3-7, currently on CD17 with positive opk and I just know I'm ovulating from my body symptoms. Only check I have is friday, my day 21 progesterone to see if I really did ovulate or not. Besides that I'm just on my own.

You normally start taking Clomid on CD 5 of your period. Cd-1 is the day you actually start bleeding so that's how you count how many days you've got. Normally after the first or second round so 2 months of Clomid hasn't gotten you pregnant you'll go back in for an ultrasound to see if it's working and if it's not or it's just barely working they will normally up your dose they start you at a 50 milligram and it can go up to 200 milligrams.
