SWITCHING MAJOR PLEASE HELP:(
Okay so I'm a junior in college and I've been in nursing this whole time. I've always wanted to help people I just didn't know I'm what way and nursing always seemed like the answer and plus it's well payed and an abundance of opportunities. However, my heart just wasn't in it, I was in it because everyone telling me how great of a nurse I will be and I grew up struggling so they always would say stay in it you'll never struggle, you're so smart, it's perfect for you but it didn't feel perfect. I looked around and found respiratory care which honestly really interest me! I think it's super interesting and I'd still be helping people! However, whenever I tell anyone I'm switching my major they look so disappointed and a lot of people have tried talking me out of it and now I'm doubting myself. I have a meeting with my advisor today to switch my major and now I'm not too sure if I should stay and continue nursing or persue respiratory:( am I just letting people get to me? Please help
