no period and continuous ovulation tests

I have had irregular periods ever since stopping birth control last October. I had two normal cycles in a row up until November and now I haven't had a period since November 9. When I do ovulation test they come back positive or close to it but all my pregnancy test are completely negative. I am very confused, has anyone had this happen? I had a miscarriage last December and have been trying to conceive for a year and three months now
