question

My husband and I have been trying for 3 months now and still nothing. I'm curious if this is normal? I had the mirena in for three yrs. now I only get my period like 2 days. He has a son already and I miscarried a few years ago. I'd love to tell him I am but now every time I get my period I cry. Is this normal. My doctor says stop stressing it will happen. Then she says hurry up I'm 35 in feb. I mean we're trying. I just sad I guess. We really want to be pregnant and everyone keeps asking I say no but now it's bothering me.. any advise thanks

I am 31 and it took us 4 months to get pregnant. I am healthy, regular and never had any issues. I had success when I bought an OPK kit and we BD'd the day before and the day of my peak ovulation. (Solid smiley). I also did stop worrying and stressing. Personally, I think getting the timing exactly right is the key.

You might want to start seeing an acupuncturist and consider taking herbs like Vitex, Maca Root and Fem Rebalnce. Maybe even start seed cycling. It sounds like your hormones aren't balanced... Good luck and babydust!

Supposedly women with a 5 day period are most fertile...2 day period seems short. Have you mentioned that to your doctor?

I had 2 kids after mirena. Are you regular after you removed it ?

It can take a full year for a healthy couple to get pregnant. Since you'll be 35 in February, give it 6 months of trying and tracking and then consult your doctor. Good luck! I'm still trying for my first after 4 losses last year.
