Buying baby stuff while ttc??

Mother in law found a nice crib for sale for cheap. I'm not even pregnant yet? I would like to buy it but what happens if we don't get pregnant for another year? Any advice appreciated. When did you start buying baby things?

I bought gender neutral baby clothes. I put them in a box and put it under my bed. It was there for 10 more months, 12 months in total, before we got our first BFP. I don't see anything wrong with it. I'm a total believer that you put positive vibes in the universe, you get those positive vibes back. I also say go for it.

I personally wouldn't, because after I miscarried my second, looking at the few things we did buy for the baby absolutely broke my heart.

I say go for it.... even if it takes you a year to conceive who cares! If i come across any deals I'm not going to wait! I had a friend who started getting diaper coupons and started buying them on sale before she even was pregnant lol.

My mother in law did that after we had a miscarriage. Shes already bought cribs clothes diapers etc. we haven't even decided if we want to fully try again. I think it's her coping mechanism but it secretly kills me seeing it all.

Hey there! I've been TTC for a while and I also have a huge suitcase type storage chest full of mostly gender neutral baby items. I think its fine!

If you like it and it's a good sale, I say go for it! My fiancé and I have a love of travel and have started buying gender neutral baby clothes when we travel somewhere new. I'm not pregnant yet haha
