Maternity Leave Rights?

So I was terminated from my job on December 30 due to low volume. I just accepted an offer today contingent upon background check and the position starts on January 30. I have not disclosed that I'm 32 weeks pregnant but plan on doing so once my background check comes through. My question is, since I will not be protected under fmla what are my rights for a leave for having baby? I'm due March 5 and can work up until then (or later if he is late) as I've not been put on any restrictions. The employer is a VERY large company that normally has excellent maternity leave benefits (4 months 100% paid leave once you've been there for a year). Do they have to hold the position (or similar) for me? Can they force me back to work after just 6 weeks (I was planning on 8 weeks in my previous position that I was terminated from). Any advice? I'm also in Minnesota if that makes a difference. I'm having a hard time searching online what is available to me starting a job basically only a month before I'm due. Sorry for the long post.
