Trying to prepare myself for a water Birth. I LOVE taking baths they are so relaxing and when i feel any discomfort a bath is my go to! Any of you ladies due soon who have thought about a water Birth or have had one before? Needing advice good or bad!

I'm the same. My bath has always been my go to place when I'm uncomfortable, down, stressed, ill, happy, bored. Basically I love my bathtime and being in water in general.

Provided my labour goes relatively straight forward, I would really like a water birth.

That being said I'm not making any set plans as to how I want it to go...I'd rather avoid any disappointment! What will be will be etc...

I think a water birth sounds fantastic. Unfortunately I can't actually give birth in the tub at my hospital but they do have tubs for laboring in and that was such a huge relief for me with my first baby. Honestly being in the tub was the most relaxed I had been since the real contractions started and I am so glad I chose a hospital that had the tubs. I dreaded getting it if Henry but I knew hey wouldn't allow me to have her in the tub so I only got out when it was time to start pushing. My labor was incredibly short and fast thank goodness but I spent almost all of my time in the tub once I got to the hospital lol

I'm planning a water birth! It'll be at a hospital but my midwives have been nothing but wonderful and I'm so excited. Even if I just labor in the water and decide to get out- I know it'll be fantastic. I also love baths. I take one just about every night before bed to relax.

I have rented a birth pool and plan to labour in it a lot. Like you, I find the warm water very comforting.

I'm planning a water birth this go round too. I have been doing the Hypnobabies home study and feeling super prepared for natural birth at the birth center. ☺🛀🏻 Have you looked into any Birthing methods?
