Has anyone ever went to l&d thinking their water had broke?

I'm currently on my way to l&d as my midwife has sent me as we're unsure if my water has broken. Has anyone ever went thinking their water had broken when in fact it was just discharge or pee? I'm worried incase it's just pee and I look like an idiot FTM btw so really don't know what's my water and what isn't.

I just did that yesterday. They said I made the absolute right decision because the only way they can tell for sure if it's your water is to test it! They won't think you're an idiot at all!

I went twice and I just peed my pants. Lol

I've done it more than once lol. This is my third and with each pregnancy I've had some type of leakage near the end where I think it's my water but it ends up just being pee or discharge lol. Don't feel silly for it though! I did the first time and they told me that it wasn't silly and that's what they are there for. They would rather me come make sure than have me walk around not knowing if my water really was leaking or not.
