My mom has had a cough for 2 months now and started having pain under her ribs . She went to the doctors and had a sleep apnea test in which her o2 levels decrease rapidly at night . She went back to the doctors and when the doctor listened to her lungs he heard them rattling around and wheezing inside of her . He thinks she could have lung cancer or copd . My mom smokes constantly . Like at least a pack a day ... sometimes 2-3 cigarettes at a time . She comes home to tell me this information and the next thing she does is pull out a cigarette... I'm fuming right now. She might have lung cancer so she pulls out a flipping cigarette ?! I don't want to lose my mother . I got so mad at her and yelled at her and told her to stop smoking . It doesn't matter what anyone says or apparently what the doctor says ... she still smokes .
