So my boyfriend and I have been dating almost a year now. We started dating second semester of senior year and now we are doing long distance in college. I'm in Arizona and he's in Miami so we don't get to see eachother very often. Anyways, I started the pill in April or May (lo loestrin Fe) and that was working well with a normal period schedule and everything over the summer. When I visited my boyfriend for the first time in September, I got my period even though it wasn't due for another 2 weeks. The same thing happened when is visited again in October and November. Yes, this happened every time I went to see him and I was never supposed to get my period according to the pill pack. I think it was late October after I had visited him a second time that I went to the doctor and asked for a higher dosage bc I was getting my period two times a month and I got a new prescription (Blisovi Fe 1/20). I'm on my third pill pack now. Everything has been fine over winter break so far except for today. He is leaving to go back to school tomorrow and of course when we finally have some alone time together Aunt Flo comes to town. I had 3 more pills until the placebos. This also happened last month where I got my period 3-4 days ahead of schedule. Is this normal? Or could it be stress related? I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem because it's really annoying and frustrating. I hate that my boyfriend and I barely have a sex life anymore bc my period. And we barely had one to start with bc of the distance. I just want some answers 😂
