boyfriend hates my family

I'm afraid my boyfriend will break up with me because of my family. He really really doesn't like them and they're not very fond of him either and I tell him about stuff that's going on with my family all the time. My family is more controlling than carefree and he can't stand that because his family is so carefree and we argue a lot about my family. I don't want him to break up with me because of them and I don't really know what to do
