Clomid despite mostly regular cycles?

Hi guys. I'm undecided between taking Clomid or not. I have PCOs but I have mostly regular cycles, I'm not overweight nor do I have hirsutism.

I was put on metmorfin this week but I'm reluctant to take Clomid.

What do you guys think? Is it possible I'm not ovulating despite my mostly normal cycles?

There are tests you can do to see if you're ovulating or not. Regular cycles should indicate regular ovulation, but if your doc is recommending clomid, or if you've been trying for a while with no luck, then I would go for it. With observation, clomid is safe to take and will give you the same chances as a "normal" couple.

Plus even if you are ovulating, your chances of miscarriage are higher anyway because of your hormones probably being abnormal. With women with PCOS, taking metformin through week 12 of your pregnancy lowers your MC risk. Not sure about the clomid helping healthy conception or not, but I'd imagine it might.
