So Thursday evening at 3:30 I took 2 tbsp of castor oil, I'm 37+5 and 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced. About 3 hours after taking I started having painful contractions starting at 6 minutes apart, progressing to two minutes apart. Went to the hospital and was still 1 cm 50%, progressed to 4 cm in 4 hours, contractions every 2-3 minutes. Got pain meds and the contractions all but stopped :( was still having contractions every 8-10 minutes the next day and got sent home :( my question is, would you take the castor oil again or just let things play out?
