Bloody show? (No picture)

Is tan/brown tinged CM considered bloody show? I've had an increase in normal white CM over the past few weeks, but this is the first I've noticed a different color. FTM 39+3

Thanks ladies! I figured out it is actually my mucus plug- it's turned into a gel consistency. I think I'm just losing a little at a time.

I had dark red/brown CM about two weeks before my baby was finally born - I was so hopeful it was bloody show but nope! During labor I had a ton of bloody show and it was a brighter red.

From what I've read, true bloody show is "pink lemonade" tinged. I've been losing my mucus plug for the couple days following my past 3 cervical exams (weeks 37-39) and it's brown (old blood) colored.

I had this last week around the same time as you, it was about two days after my doctor checked me.  It wasn't a sign of labor for me because baby is still nice and cozy in there!
