Is morning sickness hereditary?

For Example, if my mom had bad morning sickness will I have bad morning sickness also? I'm 10+2 and am still waiting for it to hit me, I guess it hit my mom at 14 weeks 😣

My mom and sis had really bad morning sickness I don't ever have morning sickness I do occasionally get nauseous but that because I waited way to long to eat this is my 5 pregnancy and never had it with any but I do know some people get it one pregnancy and then the next they don't get it at all so it just depends on your body

My mom said she didn't have any morning sickness with me or my brother. I didn't have any morning sickness my first, but this time around, I've noticed I feel nauseous and just generally crappy all day.  Although they say stretch marks can be genetic.

My mom had it horribly with both pregnancies and I had very little in the first tri. Felt sick a decent amount but barely threw up

Maybe but not necessarily. My mom didn't have much and neither did i. But she also told me to eat before bed and keep a snack by the bed and eat if you wake up in the night, avoiding an empty stomach helps. So if you do these things but your mom didn't maybe you'll have it easier than she did.
