What did your contractions feel like?

I'm 39&4. Had extremely painful period type cramps last 24 hours, plug went yesterday. The cramps are getting more painful now and travelling around to my back when they ease off. What did your contractions feel like?

I read a description once that made me laugh, but it's so true. "Once your contractions are intense enough that you can no longer fake a smile, it's the real deal."

Felt like someone took pliers and twisted my inside!!! Lol 😂 when they got stronger I couldn't walk talk or sit!!!! 😂😳🤣🤔

Sounds like you are close to being in active labor. Once they get close in frequency I would head to the hospital. My contractions never did get around to giving me back pain. I would actually feel it in my chest before my belly. It would get hard to breathe and then I would physically see my belly tighten with each breath and feel the contraction move through my lower belly.

Those are real contractions. Period cramp feeling. Start timing them. If you lay on your left side and drink water and it goes away then not real thing.

Mine just felt like cramps in my lower and mid belly

Mine felt like period cramps that I could feel in my vagina. Like very very sharp pains in my vagina and lower abdominal area.
