When does swelling start?

I'm getting married in April and I will be 19+5. This is my first pregnancy so I'm afraid my fingers will be swollen and my ring won't fit! How far along were you when you started to experience swelling?

I'm 26 weeks with my fourth, and I have yet to experience swelling with any of my pregnancies. My doctor thought it was bizarre, and would make me take off my shoes and show her 😂

It is definitely different for everyone. With my first I didn't have to take my rings off until 38 or 39 weeks. I'm 22 weeks with my second now and I've already had to stop wearing them. Getting them on in the morning is fine, but getting them off in the evening is a struggle, so I just went ahead and took them off!

Wore my rings until about 25 weeks. PS wedding ceremony nerves can make anyone's fingers swell a bit (men too!l Just get the rings as far as you can and push them the rest of the way later if needed!

First 5 months of my pregnancy I had to wear a ring snuggie on my wedding ring because it would just fall off due to lost weight from morning sickness. Now at 6 months I can wear it fine and it hasn't gotten swollen yet

I'll be 36 weeks on Wednesday, this is my 4th baby.  I have never swelled.  In fact with this pregnancy, I was actually able to start wearing my wedding ring again when I hit the 6 month mark.  I haven't been able to wear it for about a year and a half because my fingers were too chubby (it's a size 4 1/2).  Not everyone swells during pregnancy.
