Boyfriends?!?!

 Ok so my bestfriends and I have liked each other for a while but nothings happening.... I dont know how to ask him out or if I even should??? My parents wont let me date until im a sophomore and im willing to wait i just dont know if he his... he makes me so happy and we are basically the same person besides the fact that im a girl and hes a boy... idk if I sould just go for it or wait. ive been talking to a really close friend about it and she says to go for it and I want to but i dont want to loose my parents trust. What should I do? Should I go for it or wait and see if he will to?? Should I talk to him about it? Or keep it a secret? Any comment would be helpful😅❤️
