It has been known to help coax baby in the right direction if used properly it can help loosen up you pelvic muscles to help push baby out too i used one in hospital and thought it was awesome lol

I wouldn't necessarily say it brings on labor. Which really nothing will unless you are ready. However, it does help strengthen you for labor. Or so I've heard! I have been using mine since around 35 weeks. I'm 38 tomorrow and I'm at 2cm, 60% thinned. No regular contractions.

Deffo I had a sweep at 38 weeks coz I was in very slow labour I went home bounced on my ball all evening till I went to bed then straight on it again on the Saturday I lost my plug that evening and I went to the hospital to get checked because I was leaking brown stuff.. they kept in.. I had my baby boy at 11 o clock on the Monday. . X
