Pressure and discomfort?!?

So I'm almost 36 weeks. We have the really big stuff ready but we're still getting the final things ready in the last month before we have this baby.

I've started getting more BH and pains and vaginal swelling and these feelings of pressure. I'm getting progressively more nervous that she's going to show up before due date. I'm a ftm so I don't have any experience to draw on and know if this is normal so please, tell me... Did this happen to you? Did you go into labor shortly after?
