I changed the brand and dosage of pills in early September 2016 because I went a whole year waiting to get my period on the placebo pills, when I should have told my gyno the month to 3 months after being on the first brand. I thought my body was getting used to the birth control, but apparently the dosage was too low...? 

My doctor gave me these nasty chewable tablets "Minastrin 24 Fe chewable Tabs 28s". At first I just swallowed them after calling the office to ask if I HAVE TO chew them (the office lady said that they had another patient who swallows them). Then I got my period 2x in each of the following months of starting the new pill packs. I called my gyno and he said that I HAVE TO chew them (the office lady was wrong and screwed up my hormones/cycle even more). 

Then I changed to "Microgestin 1/20 Fe Tabs 28s" because I could not handle the taste of the chewables. I still get my period on an irregular schedule. Sometimes it doesn't come one month and other months it comes TWICE. 

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. HELP???

I also always take my pill at 9am everyday! (Have not missed a pill)
