early ultrasound?

I'm wondering if I should get an early ultrasound or just wait. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy and I asked to come in at 6weeks because of that. Theyscheduled  me at 6 weeks 2 days. They did warn me we might not hear the heartbeat then. Is it better to try to go early to hear it or just wait? How many ladies heard heartbeats at 6 weeks?

I had my 8 week ultrasound today due to 2 previous miscarriages. I am glad I waited until 8 weeks because it turns out I am measuring 5 days less. If I would have went in at 6 weeks I would have actually been only in my 5th week. We saw the heartbeat and it was definitely reassuring.

Following because I too had a MC and plan to "demand" coming in for an early ultrasound at 6 weeks! Were they very resistant to it? It just makes sense to me!!

I had a ultrasound at 5 weeks and 6 days and seen the heartbeat on the ultrasound! Good luck!!

Wait. I had an early one done to rule out ectopic, 6.5 weeks. No heartbeat, I worried even though they told me not to. They made me wait 2 or 3 weeks to get another done and it was horrible waiting lol

I had an early ultrasound when I was 6 weeks. We saw the heartbeat on the screen but it was still too early to hear. After my previous miscarriage, it was reassuring.
