baby clothes question please answer

We find out gender next Wednesday so next theursay we'll be going baby shopping, I had my daughter 9 weeks premature so hoping that doesn't happen again! But does it make more sense to buy first size babygrows and bodysuits which do up to 9lbs and 0-3 which do up to 11lbs. Just to start off as if I got full term I'm not sure how big this baby will be and I was just going to wait to I get my last scan and find out baby's weight and if I have a small baby then go out and buy smaller clothes! Does this make sense or sound stupid😂😂
