breast pump

So it's been 4 days since my baby was born. breastfeeding I have chose to do. Unfortunately I can't keep nursing from my boobs because their cracked, swollen, and red due to bad latch that my son has. I have a pump and started at least pumping some of my Milk into bottles for him but my milk stopped pumping..why? It still comes out of my boob and everything. Ugh I'm so frustrated and depressed cause I feel like I just can't feed my son :(
