FWB? Can you ever not catch feelings?

Me and this guy have agreed to be friends with benefits but as time has gone on all we have done is facetime. Over winter break we pretty much facetime every day or every other day through these ft calls I have started gaining what I think k to be feelings for this guy. He says it will have to be strictly sex and a friendship but he's sending me signals otherwise and we spent a night together and we messed around but didn't fuck bc i was on my period and then that's when we left for break. I have still yet to fuck him but I really want to all I can think about is him. Can I fuck him without catching feelings. Bc he doesn't want that he said if I catch feelings he's not talking to me anymore. Help?
