a little sad rant

So this is probably dumb and I kind of just want to rant a little but I've been talking to this guy for a while now and we used to flirt nonstop but now it's died down and I actually confronted him about it bc it was getting awkward and he said that he has a crush on someone else and doesn't want to be a fuckboy which I respect, but now the conversations are very dull and boring, it seems a little forced and it makes me very Sad. It also makes me sad because I like him, a lot and it's just things are different. I only talk to him over text because he doesn't live anywhere near me which is a bummer bc I just can't go over and bonk him on the head and tell him to be normal. Idk, I'm just upset and sad that things are kind of different now.
