Sushi while pregnant?!

Question

Okay, I'm not big on seafood, the only sushi I eat is crabmeat sushi. Can you eat that while pregnant? Technically crab meat is "cooked" right? ... because you have to steam it to kill it?! So if all I'm eatting is a crab and cream cheese roll is that bad for the baby?

If you're sure it's cooked then it shouldn't be a problem.

Crabmeat in sushi is usually imitation and is a cooked white fish.

You're perfectly fine with that. I also had a spicy tuna roll once when pregnant with my first child - as long as it's from a good, reputable place you're fine and in moderation!

Had some yesterday.  Just stay away from sashimi and eat it only from reputable places.   As in, no gas station sushi.  LoL

I eat cooked "sushi" with cooked crab and shrimp :)

Any cooked sushi like snow crab or shrimp tempura is perfectly safe just nothing raw
