Temporarily disabled... and baby #3 due in 8 weeks

Allison
I broke my left ankle on 01/04/17. I am due to have my baby 03/21/17... but with a planned c-section it will most likely be a week before. Yesterday at the Orthopaedic office I was told I could start putting weight on it at 8 weeks... which will take me right to the time baby is expected. This is only to begin to put weight on... I'll have to continue with physical therapy to walk again normally. I'm just curious if any other moms have faced having a newborn without being mobile. Maybe you are short term disabled like me, or this is your life and you can't walk and get around? How do you or did you manage? I have 2 other children. One is 6 and she's very independent. The other is 3 and needs his mama a lot lol. I guess I will be relying on others a lot still when baby arrives. At least with a newborn too, as long as I have diapering close to me and I'm breastfeeding I won't have to move around too much. I'm trying my hardest to stay positive as I know it's only temporary and won't go on forever, but it's just so emotional.
