pregnancy on birth control??

So i have been having a lot of unprotected sex with my boyfriend where he cums in me every time. However, I am on birth control as I have been for almost 5 months. Yet, as of lately, after taking the birth control I have been having weird pains in my stomach kinda like cramps. Is that normal? This has hardly ever happened to me before while taking birth control.
