birth control? HELP!

WHAT birth control are you/have you been on and what did you like/ dislike about it??? I'm looking into the shot, but I understand that all birth control will make you depressed?!

Was on mirena prior to getting pregnant and loved it. Just had it done it again and still love it. Haven't noticed either time it affecting me. It has almost stopped period to were just need liner. First time it did completely stop them until had it taken out. But once it was out period started 2 days later and lasted for 12 days.

Birth control only makes you depressed if you have a hormone imbalance to start with. I was on birth control 10 years with no issue. I did the patch I like that cause you didn't have to remember it just change it once a week. I switched to the nuva ring and it was terrible made my uterus hurt all the time and it fell out once and I had no idea. Went to the pill because your chances of getting pregnant after stopping are higher. I was going to do the shot but they said one shot can make it so you can get pregnant for up to a year and that's just one shot. I believe it's the same with any of the implants to.

I have Paraguard which is the copper IUD and I love it! No hormones so I don't feel crazy. :)

I'm on Lavora. I like it. It gave me boobs and an ass ! It's a low dose.

I was on the pill- ortho tri cyclen.  No issues. Junel made me bitchy/angry. They all effect different women differently. The best thing is to talk to your dr about what would work best for you and if after a trial it doesn't work you move on to something else.
