Im 18 and pregnant?!

I went to the doctors a few days ago and they told me that I'm pregnant! I'm not sure who the dad is, but its between two guys. Neither of them know and one of them I have no way of contacting. My mom is pressuring me to keep the baby and let her help me raise it but that is FAR from what I want.. I want to get rid of it but I need help making this decision :( Im only 18, a freshman in college, and I want to become a doctor but keeping this baby would mean giving up my entire life plan and carrying it would mean being out of work for three months and I really can't afford to do that

It's YOUR body. YOUR life. If you don't want a child, that's okay!!!!!!!! You shouldn't be pressured into making a giant life decision like that, if it's not what YOU want. Abortion is always an option, you're 18 so you can go yourself. But if that's not in your personal views, you can choose adoption. (Even though there's 1000s of kids in there).

I know many many women who had kids young and still carried out the career they wanted. It's gonna be a lot of being away from your child but you'll be able to give him/her the world later on. You can do it!!!

do what you want, honestly becoming a doctor is a big deal and it's a lot of schooling and i agree this baby could keep you from it. but do what you want! :)

First off personally I feel that you should keep it. This child is someone that's going to love you unconditionally and possibly push you more to your goal of becoming a doctor. Of course it'll be hard but it'll give you a sense of feeling needed. Also you could possibly show your baby what it means to hustle as they get older and to never give up no matter their circumstances.

Please make the decision yourself. It's your life. If you want to go with abortion, that's okay. It's okay to want to focus solely on school and your future career. If you decide to keep the baby when you really don't want to, you're going to feel a lot of resentment towards them and they will suffer as a result. Weigh out your options and do what you feel is best, not anyone else. Good luck!

Keep it.  Your going to be able to still do what you wanna do.  Once your done with your schooling and your child is old enough to know what's going on. They are going to be so proud of you for everything you have accomplished while raising them.  It'll be a big accomplishment!!!

Honestly, if you don't want to keep it, I don't think you should. I think it's a bad idea when a woman keeps a child she doesn't want. Yeah, many grow to love the child (if they don't choose adoption), but you know that having a baby can alter your career path. Raising a child is already difficult and to raise one you didn't even want? And when you're just starting on your dream? Your mom should think about that before she urges you to keep the baby. Either way, as I said before, your body, your decision. I'm not the one trying to decide whether to keep the baby or not. You are. Good luck!
