sorry its not related to glow but pls reply

I am planning to buy diamond ring from blue nile .. i want to buy half carat diamond, can anybody please tell me what color, clarity and other things i should buy? I mean ring will be plain platinum or white gold.. but please tell me which diamond specifications are good for 0.50 carat diamond. Thank u in advance.
