Suggestion's on birth control I'm planning to switch my mirena iud it makes my period last for several days. Any one else have iud?

Sorry I have no advice. I had problems with so many of the hormonal birth control options (headaches, blood clots, constant spotting etc.) and am allergic to latex. We ended up using the "pull out" method for 7 years and now my DH just got a vasectomy 👍

I was just put on the paragard iud. Its only been two weeks but so far I like it. I'm still having some light spotting but its not bad at all. My period was heavier and my cramps were gone but if you don't mind the bleeding I suggest you get it. Lasts 7 to 10 years.

I have the Nexplanon arm implant. I stopped BF almost two months ago and still haven't gotten a period. My GYN said that some women won't have a period on the implant and some will.

How long have you been on it? It can take several months to regulate with your body.  I almost too mine out, but notice it getting shorter and lighter. Still 7 to 10 days, but not heavy and the whole month anymore

I have always used the pill. Never had issues with it and hardly ever forget to take it considering I'm no way near ready for another baby
