won't stop spotting with my mirena help!!!!

Hey you guys! So I've been spotting a lot lately that my periods last a little longer and I know because I have the mirena but what should I do to stop this. My doctor told me about a low dosage of birth control pills but I can't do those that makes me nauseous. And I haven't had sex in a long time not that it matters but you never know I might wanna get down and dirty lol and still I can't keep messing up my underwear like this. What home remedies should I use? Any suggestions?
