Lately I've been dreaming about girls. I never told this to anyone... I've always been with a guy, never a woman. I don't know if I'm bi or what. Sometimes I think I'm joking when I say I'm going to be with a woman. I really don't know... I'm scared to talk about this to my mother or a friend. So that's why I came to eve. Some of my second cousins are bi or lesbians and they don't care who knows. I'm only 17, I'll be 18 in 4 weeks. Is this okay for me to feel this way? Advice? What should I do? Have y'all ever felt this way?

You're young, you have time to figure it out. I felt this way but was too scared to say anything or act on it. I was always with guys but I could never feel a real emotional connection with them, even though I thought I really liked them. It was confusing. But when I was 24 I fell in love with a girl, and thankfully, she kissed me first or I would have been too in my head and scared to go for it. We've been together for over two years now and my emotional connection with her is so much stronger than it was with any guy. So, for me, figuring out my sexuality took a while. It's ok to experiment and see how you feel, but you don't need to come out to your mother yet if it's just a feeling. Just see what you like. Love is love ❤️
