Can wisdom teeth surgery affect my period?

I got my wisdom teeth out a week ago Thursday. I was supposed to start my period on Tuesday, it came one day late on Wednesday, but I only bled for a day and a half or so. I got put under when they took out my wisdom teeth, and they gave me an antibodic to take, along with some pain medication (if I needed it). Is it normal for this to effect my period? Usually it last for around four days.
