4.6 week ultra sound?

My SIL is a pediatric nurse and works nights. It's a slow night for her and she just offered me a free ultra-sound. I'm only 4 weeks and 6 days, maybe 5 weeks.. would it be worth it? From Googling, I know there wouldn't be much to see and we definetly wouldn't be able to hear/see a heartbeat.

Would you do it?

No. If it were me, Id have her save that 'free' ultrasound for when I was much further along.

I went in at 4 weeks 2 days and there was nothing on the screen which freaked me out. I'd wait until at least 6 weeks when you can see the heartbeat.

No, you would hardly see anything. Ask her if you can save her offer for when you are further along!

You'll see nothing and it will probably make you anxious. Most doctors won't do a scan before 8 weeks for that reason.

I seen my little ones heart beat at 5 weeks and some days. The baby doesnt get a heartbeat until 5 weeks into the pregnancy

You won't see much. I'm not even sure what you can see. Why not ask her to hit you back up in a few more weeks? 😎
