How are you estimating your due date?

Question

I was using fertility awareness for birth control and we got pregnant on our first try. I personally don't care what an ultrasound says because they told me my 3rd baby was going to be 7-8lbs and born on Nov 7 and I had a 10lb 2oz on Oct 27. If I back up to his conception day, his due date should have been Oct 27th lol I'm sticking to my guns on this one. I'm due on Sept 25th

If you know the conception date, use that. It's way more accurate. I actually calculated what my first date of LMP would've been if I HAD a 28 day period, which I don't, and am telling my docs the fake LMP so they'll get the due date right. I don't believe in this antiquated LMP bullshit. Ultrasound is pretty accurate too tho.

You do realize that most Dr's use LMP and due dates/weights are mostly estimates. If it was an exact science and every baby/pregnancy developed at the same rate then due dates would always be their birthday, babies would weigh the same amount, and there wouldn't be an early term, term, and overdue week spread.
