swollen, period, advice please!!!

Okay so I've been on my period since Friday (it's now Sunday) and I've noticed twice that my ovaries have felt swollen. The first time I noticed it was my left, and just now it was my right. Both times I kinda rubbed and the feeling that they were "sticking out" or "swollen" went away. Has anyone heard of this or dealt with it? It's not painful I'm just curious cause this is the first time I've ever noticed. Thanks ladies!!
