Implantation bleeding question...

For those Ladies who had implantation bleeding as one of your early pregnancy symptoms, was it just spotting in your undergarment or was there a little blood when you wiped after you use the restroom as well? Just wondering and trying to figure out what I'm experiencing. AF is not due until 1/25; however, I noticed some spots and had some blood after wiping. If this was on or around my AF, I would say it's my period coming but I'm wondering if it's early pregnancy symptoms (I'm hoping it is) or just AF decided to come early this month, which would be a huge bummer.
