engorgement and mastitis please help me. first time mom
I have been on antibiotics for 48 hours and breast is still red and swollen. I believe it is engorged but my baby won't patch on to the nipple because of decreased milk flow. I don't know what to do. I can't pump because it's so swollen I can't get my breast to fit into the pump.
I am feeling discouraged and I've had to give my baby formula because my one breast isn't enough for him.
