Feeling stupid (Is this early labor?)

Im 39 weeks 3 days and woke up with bad cramping. I feel dumb but i have no clue if this is a sign of labor or not😞. I just had my son 12 months ago i thought ide know but i honestly don't. Im just waiting till im crying in pain lol. Anybody else go in labor without having a bloody show? Thats sort of whats making me think its just cramping. Last time i had a bloody show n was crying it hurt so bad and sure enough i was in labor. I don't remember the pain tho...

I didn't have a bloody show with my daughter, my water didn't break, and the contractions didn't get super painful until I was atleast 6cm dilated. If the cramps are consistent and don't go away, and start to get stronger it's labor. If they're irregular and go away after walking and water , it's not.

If the cramps are consistent then yes early labor!  That's what I was told at least but honestly I don't remember from my first either I was induced then 😂

I didn't. I woke up with cramping, got in the tub, and they never went away so I went and got checked. I was 4cm and in labor
