So I've been on the mini pill now since LO turned 8 wks, since I'm nursing it's what my dr suggested to take. Things seemed to be fine at first, and now I feel like a completely different person. My mood is completely different. Even my husband says I'm a different person. So I started thinking really hard why I'm different and why is my mood suddenly different. I thought could it be my birth control. I searched and saw several posts and articles about the mini pill causing mood disorders and depression. So I'm thinking this has to be the culprit as everything else in my life is fine and not changed. Just the pill. And come to think of it, my mood was great prior to starting it. Anyone else experience side effects with the mini pill?? What birth control did you switch  to? I'm very weary of an IUD but am open to it because I have to get off this mini pill like, now! I will call my dr too to see what options I have. Just seeing if others are experiencing this or have been here before. Thanks!
