clomid vs injectables?

Hi! I am getting a second opinion on how to conceive with diminished ovarian reserve. One doctor's office does natural and mini IVF and wants me to go on clomid to help the follicles I have now to grow (I only have 2 one is 9mm and the other 3mm, but I'm post ovulatory too) and the other doctor believes clomid results in poor egg quality so their clinic does injectables. Anyone have any advice or ever heard of the difference between these two?
