3 weeks pregnant??

if i was pregnant it would be about 3 weeks right. my period is only 3 days late and i have no symptoms of pregnancy at all. I took a test about 3 weeks ago because i was experiencing bleeding, it was heavy bleeding tho (enough to leak through a tampon) and the test was negative. Could that have been my period or should i take about test at the end of the week??
