Solid food routine?

What is your solid food routine? When did you start? What's your baby eating now??

I started to introduce foods at 4 and a half months because she was interested. I started with bananas mashed with breast milk and only like every two days. She's 6 and a half months now and she usually eats 3 meals, all after being breast fed. She eats the Earth's Best baby foods and some "real" foods. Breakfast and lunch are usually half a container of a fruit mixed with a tablespoon or two of rice cereal. Dinner is a full container of a vegetable or vegetable mix with a tablespoon or two of rice cereal. My daughter weighs 12 and a half pounds so her doctor wanted me to add the rice cereal for extra carbs. She also eats bananas and sweet potatoes. I give her whatever I'm cooking with too. Like if I make a salad, I'll slice a cucumber for her with the skin off and let her suck on it. She hasn't met a food she doesn't like! And we are still breastfeeding about 4-6 times a day.

We started at 6 months, first food was avocado. I feed about 2 teaspoons twice a day after nursing. Always introduce new foods in the morning in case of allergy and only 1 new food every 3-4 days. Food should not replace breastmilk/formula until age 1. Our schedule is:

7am wake and nurse
8am solids
5:00pm nurse
5:30pm solids

We started at 5.5 months. Started on veggies. I make mine with the baby bullet. Also I use the mom's on Call schedule. Love it.
